The Last Laugh: Watch Joan Rivers Zing Anna Wintour Hours Before Falling Into A Coma — The Final Interview
Sept. 6 2014, Published 9:57 a.m. ET
Joan Rivers had them rolling in the aisles until the very end. Just hours before she would fall into a coma following a routine endoscopy, the iconic comedian and Fashion Police star regaled the audience with one-liners at a Time, Inc. event in NYC, and RadarOnline.com has the video.
Holding court at the head of the room in front of a poster featuring the cover of her most recent book, Diary of a Mad Diva, Rivers explained her fashion credo to the crowd.
“I truly believe more is better,” she said — her own jewelry and sparkling sequins proof of the mantra.
“Put it on, have a good time, do your hair, do your nails,” she said. “Have a good time! Fashion should be fun. Not taken so seriously.”
“Anna Wintour,” she said, launching into a stuck-up impression of the Vogue editrix.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, audience members said Rivers was “dynamic” and “full of life” at a performance at Laurie Beechman Theater just after this video was taken.
