Battle Over Baby! Avril Lavigne & Chad Kroeger ‘Fighting’ Non-Stop Over Expanding Their Family & Trust Issues, Says Source

So much for a happy ending? Avril Lavigne and her fellow Canadian rock star husband Chad Kroeger have only been married 14 months, but the newlywed phase is definitely over. An insider tells RadarOnline.com that the couple are constantly “fighting" and she is telling those close to her she is "over it!”

“They are arguing for a lot of reasons right now,” a close friend of Lavigne’s tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She wants a baby and he does not right now because he is about to go on tour.”

“But that isn’t the only reason. Avril does not trust Chad at all and she has good reason not to. He allegedly cheated on his ex-girlfriend with Avril and left her,” the source continues. ”She has trust issues about it."

Adding to the tension, the "Sk8r Boi" singer’s recent fifth studio album, titled “Avril Lavigne,” didn’t do well in comparison to her previous albums and that has put a lot of strain on the marriage.

“She blames him because he produced most of it,” the source claims.

But despite all the drama, "Avril has not said anything about a divorce to us yet,” the source says. “But the fighting is not something that they can hide anymore."

This is the first marriage for Kroeger, 39, second marriage for Levigne, 29, who was previously married to Sum 41’s Derick Whibley.
