The 28-year-old Complicated singer and 38-year-old Nickelback rocker exchanged vows Monday at Chateau La Napoule in Mandelieu, France.
The ceremony for the Canadian musicians was followed by a "wild, all-night party with drinking, dancing, incredible food and lots of laughter and tears of happiness," an insider told US Weekly.
A separate source told the magazine, "Avril and Chad had glasses of wine in their hands and were kissing as fireworks popped overhead and sparkled down.
"It was a magical moment and everyone was overwhelmed!"
Lavigne got divorced from ex Deryck Whibley in October 2009 after a three-year marriage. Kroeger initiated his first marriage presenting the Sk8tr Boi songstress with a 14-carat diamond ring in his proposal to her last summer.
