Two months before her looming sentencing date, a possibly prison-bound Teresa Giudice is speaking out about her “terrifying” future.
“No one can ever prepare themselves to go to prison,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 42, who faces 27 months behind bars for pleading guilty to fraud and tax evasion charges, told In Touch in an exclusive interview.
The reality star says she’s most concerned about being separated from her daughters, Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4.
“How could I ever prepare myself to be away from my kids? It’s too terrifying for me to even think about,” she admitted to the magazine. “I’ve had many sleepless nights worrying about being separated from my family. My family is everything.”
In addition to the upcoming sentencing (husband Joe, 42, faces 46 months in prison for five federal fraud charges), the family recently had to deal with the sudden death of Joe’s father Frank, 63.

“What does not kill you makes you stronger,” she said about the devastating loss of her girls’ “Nonno Franco.” “I am here 100% for my poor honey, and he for me.”
Theresa also slammed trolls who harass her daughters online.
“My kids take a lot of criticism in social media; people treat them terribly and say nasty things to them, as if they were adults,” she fumed. “Gia is at the age where she knows and she sees, and that isn’t fair.”
Though Theresa seems to want to keep her kids out of the limelight, her children will be heavily featured on the upcoming season
of her Bravo hit, RadarOnline.com has exclusively reported.
“Teresa has denied in the past that she will let Bravo exploit her children by showing them upset,” a source told Radar, “but in the end it’s all about the ratings.”
