The Real Housewives of New York City star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, who has established herself as a recording artist and prominent television personality, has added a new title to her long list of achievements: fashion entrepreneur.
On May 17, de Lesseps launched her own clothing line, rightfully titled “Countess Luann Apparel Collection, on ShopHQ.
“I love fashion,” de Lesseps told RadarOnline.com. “We’re all busy. We all want to look stylish, so I created a line that’s chic made easy.”
De Lesseps is proud of her creation.
“It’s comfortable, stylish and affordable,” she said. “It works from day to night and is figure flattering, trans-seasonal and elegant.”
“There are great pieces that stand alone,” she said. “Or you can mix and match it into your existing wardrobe. With these pieces, you are good to go.”
De Lesseps believes that being part of Housewives has given her a good platform to launch her new products.
“I think it’s a great platform,” she said. “Being on Housewives, you have to look good and you have to do it quickly. So I’m sharing my experience and how to put yourself together and how to look fabulous.”
And her Housewife costars — Sonja Morgan, Kristen Taekman, Ramona Singer, Aviva Drescher, Heather Thomson, and Carole Radziwill — are all standing behind de Lesseps as she launches her line.
“They think it’s great and are supportive,” she said.
