Troubled R&B singer Chris Brown was just sentenced to 131 days in jail after admitting he violated his probation, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
Brown, 25, appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday afternoon where he admitted to the assault charge he received last year after a brawl outside his hotel in Washington, D.C.
The judge, Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin, actually sentenced Brown to 365 days — one year — but gave the singer credit for the 234 days he already spent in jail and in rehab.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, an arrest warrant was issued for Brown in March after he was thrown out of the rehab facility and he was taken into custody, where he has been ever since.
Along with the jail sentence, Brown is also ordered to attend therapy sessions twice a week to deal with his anger management and must undergo random drug testing three times per week.
All of Brown's recent legal issues stem from his 2009 felony assault charge for beating up his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, for which he's still been on probation.
How long Brown will actually serve in jail depends on how crowded the facility is.
