Chris Pine was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in New Zealand earlier this month, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Authorities (who didn't identify Pine by name) confirmed that an American man, 33, was taken into custody March 1 after his blood-alcohol levels tested over New Zealand's legal limit of .08 percent.
The Star Trek actor is in the area filming the upcoming Z for Zachariah, which also stars Margot Robbie and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit star was with gal pal Iris Bjork Johannesdottir as he celebrated wrapping up filming Feb. 28 at a watering hole in Methven called the Blue Pub, bar manager named Casey Crawford told New Zealand newspaper The Press. Crawford said the star, who left the establishment at 2:30 a.m., didn't look to be under the influence and was gregarious to fans looking to get a picture with him.
