Kelly Osbourne is starting off 2014 as a single lady! The Fashion Police host announced today that she and her boyfriend of two years, Matthew Mosshart, are splitting up just months after they got engaged.

"Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement," her rep told Us Weekly. "The split is amicable and the pair continue to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided …"

By all accounts, the couple seemed happy together as they walked the red carpet at the amFAR Inspiration Gala in Hollywood on December 12.

But on January 8, Osbourne tweeted a cryptic note that suggested some secret discord: "its sic all about perception," she wrote. "sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't early bad at all, especially when you learn something from it!"

She and Mosshart had gotten engaged in July during a romantic trip to Anguilla, after meeting at fellow Brit Kate Moss' wedding in 2011.

This isn't Osbourne's first broken engagement. Just months before she met Mosshart, she dumped then-fiancé Luke Worrall after reportedly discovering he was having a secret affair with a pre-op transsexual.

"I have never felt heartbreak like this in my life," she tweeted at the time.
