George Zimmerman's estranged wife, Shellie, was involved in an accident on Friday when her car was struck by a drunk driver, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
According to Winter Park, Fla. police spokesperson Tom Pearson, the other vehicle ran a red light and hit Shellie's car around 11:00 a.m. ET.
"Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were removed by wreckers from the scene," Pearson said.
"The injuries are non-life-threatening. They appeared to be abrasions from the deployment from the airbag."

HLNtv.com reports the other driver was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Shellie filed for divorce from George in Sept., just months after he was acquitted on second-degree murder for the killing of teen Trayvon Martin in a case that stirred racial tensions around the globe.
