Sleepwalking Man Wakes To Discover He Shot Himself During His Sleep

A man shot himself in the knee while he was sleeping this week, police in Concord, New Hampshire say.
Lt. Tim O’Malley said that police consider the incident, which was reported 12:30 am ET July 30 by the man's wife, accidental. The wife was not home at the time of the shooting, police said.
The man was hospitalized with serious -- but not life-threatening -- injuries.
"We'd like to know what happened and have more details," O'Malley said, "but the only witness was the person who was shot, and it sounds like he doesn't know exactly what happened."
Police have not released the man's name.
