Kanye West Channels Tom Cruise In His Love For Kim Kardashian

Kris Jenner has pulled another coup, getting Kanye West to appear on the season finale of her talk show, where he waxed poetic about her daughter, and his baby mama, Kim Kardashian.

The College Dropout referenced Tom Cruise's famous couch-jumping incident (when the actor was talking about now-ex-wife Katie Holmes), saying he'd had a crush on the socialite for a long time.

"I just dreamed about being next to her, and any time I could," the Paranoid rapper joked. "I don't know, I keep saying it, but, I don't want to start jumping up and down on the couch."

Kanye also addressed the murmurs that his relationship with tabloid tart Kim has eroded his A-list credentials.

"I could have people saying, 'This is going to damage your credibility as a artist or a designer,' and I say, 'I don't care, I love this woman,'" he told her mother. "I'm saying I'm being with this person because, you know, I love this person.

"She's worth it to me ... she's my joy, and she brought my new joy into the world, and there's no paparazzi, no blog comment, and there's nothing that's gonna take that joy from me."

Kim gave birth to Kanye's daughter North June 15, and the proud papa reportedly showed a pic of the tot on the show.
