Lindsay Lohan was desperate to get out of the Betty Ford Center from the first day she checked in and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she was complaining to people that being there was “detrimental” to her “safety and sobriety.”
The 26-year-old actress busted out of the respected treatment center this week and checked into Cliffside in Malibu, but her relentless complaints about Betty Ford are what finally got her out.
According to a source close to Lindsay, she told everyone she could that she was miserable in treatment.
“It’s detrimental to my safety and sobriety here,” Lindsay groused about spending her 90-day court-ordered sentence at the Betty Ford Center.
She was unhappy about the sentence from the beginning, even participating in a standoff with the judge on the day she was required to enter a center, spending minutes in Morningside Recovery before finally checking into Betty Ford on May 3, and she was on a campaign from day one to be released.
“Lindsay hated the Betty Ford Center,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
“She made it clear that she did not want to be there and that she was going to get out of there any way that she could.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lindsay’s stay at the rehab center was filled with problems including her insistence on taking her prescription Adderall pills.
“Lindsay was demanding her Adderall, which she was not given. But she kept demanding it and was highly disruptive,” a source said.
