A penthouse apartment owned by the late Larry Hagman and his widow, Maj, has been sold for $5 million.

The 3,000 sq. ft. apartment sits directly across the street from the beach in Santa Monica, CA and has unobstructed ocean views.

As RadarOnline. com previously reported, the apartment hit the market in January, just two months after the Dallas star died of cancer.  It was listed at $5.2 million.

The actor's beloved Maj suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is being cared for by family.

The couple also owned a large estate in Ojai, CA, and a sale is reportedly pending on that property.

Hagman's final appearance in the TNT reboot of Dallas aired earlier this month with his character of J.R. Ewing being shot and killed off camera.

The send-off was a homage to his Who Shot J.R. episode from the original Dallas.  Thirty three yeas later, it remains one of the most-viewed hours of TV ever.
