"Meanwhile, Tye loved living in L.A. at first, but all the glitz and glamour wore off quickly. He's just a country boy at heart and wants to stay in Texas."

The couple has a 21-month-old daughter togetherAva, and the source says Tye wants their family in Texas to share in all of her firsts, but feels blindsided by Melissa's decision to stay in Southern California.
