Dancing With The Stars: All Stars mirror ball trophy winner Melissa Rycroft's marriage is on the rocks, according to an exclusive National Enquirer report, and her booming career and showbiz aspirations are to blame.
Melissa and her hubby of three years, Tye Strickland, previously lived in Texas where he worked as an insurance agent but picked up and headed to Hollywood when DWTS came knocking — and now Melissa wants to stay put.
"Melissa knows that she has to strike while the iron is hot and capitalize quickly on her 'mirror ball' win," a source close to her told the Enquirer.
"Meanwhile, Tye loved living in L.A. at first, but all the glitz and glamour wore off quickly. He's just a country boy at heart and wants to stay in Texas."
The couple has a 21-month-old daughter together, Ava, and the source says Tye wants their family in Texas to share in all of her firsts, but feels blindsided by Melissa's decision to stay in Southern California.
