The cell phone application at the center of Paris Hilton's homophobic rant has taken a jab at the heiress by insinuating that she dates gay men!

"@parishilton, frankly we're surprised that you hadn't heard about Grindr sooner, given some of the guys you date," Grindr tweeted on Thursday with a link to a photo of Paris and ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt at a Halloween party.

It should be noted that although Doug is dressed up like a fairy, the app is clearly joking because Doug has always dated women and is not gay.

In the audio clip exclusively obtained by, Paris is heard discussing the app Grindr — an application used by gay men to find other gay or bisexual men for casual hookups — with a male friend of hers in the back of a taxi cab.

"Ewww. Eww. To get f**ked? Gay guys are the horniest people in the world," Paris is heard saying.

"They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS."

However, Paris maintains that her comments were meant to relay the danger in men having unprotected sex.

"The conversation became heated, a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex," her spokesperson told in a statement.

"He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers. As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site."
