Mystery Solved! Ashton And Demi Were Legally Wed, Did Not Just Have Kabbalah Ceremony

Questions about whether Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore legally wed -- or just had a symbolic Kabbalah ceremony in 2005 -- have been solved.

According to a Quitclaim deed on one of their properties, dated March 6, 2012 and filed in the L.A. County Recorder's Office, Demi is referred to as “spouse” and Ashton as a “married man."

Those marital status descriptions are required on all California real estate transfers.

Speculation has been rampant that Demi and Ashton never legally tied the knot, and that was rumored to be the reason why Demi still hasn't filed for divorce close to a year since the pair split.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Demi very publicly pulled the plug on their relationship, with her rep issuing a statement about "the end of their marriage" after he was caught cheating on their sixth anniversary last November.
