Jessie's Girl singer Rick Springfield pleaded no contest to reckless driving in a Los Angeles court after the district attorney dropped DUI charges against him Thursday.

The performer, 62, was ordered to pay a fine, complete an alcohol diversion course and serve three years of summary probation.

The one-time heartthrob -- who first shot to fame as Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital in the early 80s -- was arrested in his blue 1963 Corvette Stingray in May 2011 in Malibu by L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies on suspicion of DUI.
