Kurt Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, performed at a fundraiser in Los Angeles last weekend, and the lead singer for Hole looked and sounded better than she has in years, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The queen of grunge music was invited to perform at "Evening With Women" by fellow musician Linda Perry to benefit the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center on Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Love's rep, Steve Honig, told us exclusively, "Courtney brought the house down. She looked and sounded amazing. She was excited to come to Los Angeles to join her friend Linda Perry and support this incredibly worthwhile cause." Love performed three songs in the hotel ballroom, which was standing room only, Under My Thumb, Violet, and Celebrity Skin.

Courtney is good friends with Linda Perry, who was an event host. In addition to Courtney performing, so did Linda, Wanda Sykes, and Gina Gershon. During Love's performance, Sykes jumped on stage to dance with her! Other celebs in attendance included Ashlee Simpson, Sara Gilbert, and Sam Ronson who dj'd at the after-party in the hotel.

The event raised over $500k, for various health and social services at the Center, which is one of the largest gay and lesbian organizations in the world.
