Actress Melissa Gilbert was injured on Dancing with the Stars Monday night, after the Little House on the Prairie star danced the paso doble with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy to Conquest by the White Stripes.

Gilbert, 47, received 22 points on the night, seven points each from Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli and eight from Len Goodman.

Gilbert was not present at the show's end, which would be cleared up by host Tom Bergeron.

"If you're wondering why Melissa and Maks are not here, she injured herself and as a precaution, has gone to the hospital to get it checked out," Bergeron told the crowd during Monday's show, adding he'd have an update in time for Tuesday.

There's no word on exactly what sent the actress to the hospital, but she blogged for People Monday that "this week of Dancing has been a killer."

Someone's going home when Dancing with the Stars' 14th season continues on ABC Tuesday at 9/8c.
