Crazytown frontman Seth Binzer, known as Shifty Shellshock, has been in a coma since last Thursday and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned a mixture of pills, GHB and crack are to blame.

"Seth has been on a very dark bad run for more than two months," a source close to situation told us.

"Last Thursday he got in a fight with his baby mama, Jasmine Lennard, and took like 25 pills, GHB Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid and was smoking a lot of crack."

According to the source, friends had been trying to help the former Celebrity Rehab patient and had even gotten him a spot in a rehab treatment facility three weeks ago — but Seth wasn't ready.

"Seth has needed help for a long time but just hasn't been able to get himself clean," the insider said.

The source tells RadarOnline.com that Seth was induced into a coma on Thursday and remains in the ICU on a respirator.

"Police came to the hospital on Monday because Jasmine and her family showed up and created more drama," the source said. "His family is devastated."

Seth's estranged wife, Melissa Binzer, filed for divorce from him last summer and he has a two-year-old son with Jasmine.
