He is the genius behind a generation of game shows, and now Merv Griffin’s former home is up for sale, and RadarOnline.com has photos of the Bel Air mansion, courtesy of our friends at Zillow.com.
The creator of Wheel Of Fortune, Jeopardy and The Merv Griffin Show, sold the house in 1992 to another celebrity, and now it is on the market for the first time in 20 years.
Built in 1989 and currently listed at $6.995 million, the 5,600 square feet home has 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and boasts an infinity pool and spa as well as a tennis court installed by avid tennis player Griffin.
“Not much has changed (since Merv bought it),” said listing agent Billy Rose of The Agency. “It’s what Merv enjoyed -- that old Hollywood feel to it,” plus the fact that the secluded location was “a little off the beaten path.”
