Reese Witherspoon ‘So Excited To Meet’ Kate Middleton: ‘Y’all, She’s A Princess!’

Reese Witherspoon, appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show Friday, drops the details of recently crossing paths with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton at an exclusive fundraiser, adding she hopes they can be friends moving forward.
“Somebody called me and said ... would you want to come over and meet the Prince and Princess?” the 35-year-old Oscar-winner told Ellen. “I was like, ‘Yes’ -- my husband just thought I was so dorky. He was like, ‘Why are you so excited?’”
The blonde beauty estimates she “must of tried on like six outfits” prior to her brush with royalty.
“I’m meeting a princess, you don’t understand,” the Legally Blond star told the new JC Penney spokeswoman. “You have to be wearing the right outfit and the whole thing. I don’t know, maybe we can be friends. So we went and it’s always funny. Whenever I am super excited about things, my husband calls it the double barrel -- that’s when I smile so big I look like a child.”
After Reese showed off a photo of she and Kate, Ellen remarked, “You really do look happy ... just beaming.”
The Walk The Line star said, “I was so excited to meet her. Y’all, she’s a princess. I mean, I would like to hang out. I’m not sure she wants to hang out with me, but I could see that happening.”

The mother-of-two said the princess was “really nice, lovely and so composed” when they chatted.
“She seems like such a lady and I think it’s so nice now days to see someone with such nice composure and carries herself so beautifully.”
