Congratulations to Korn rocker James "Munky" Shaffer and his beautiful bride Evis Xheneti.
Eight months after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that the musician had proposed to his actress girlfriend of several years at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the couple traded vows in an intimate ceremony in the City of Light and we have the exclusive details about their 1920s style romantic wedding.
The couple said "I Do" and traded Cartier wedding bands on January 2 at a small, 200 year-old church on the Seine river in front of a small group of friends and family, and the wedding party included the bride's sister, singer Xhoana Xheneti, Korn's manager of twenty years and one of Shaffer's best friends, Jeff Kwatinetz, and Korn's tour manager, Jens Geiger.
"We wanted to get married in Paris because this is our city," the bride told RadarOnline.com. "James proposed at the Eiffel tower, so it just seemed like we were supposed to get married here."
Evis, 31, looked breathtaking in a Monique Lhuillier 'Scarlet' dress, a romantic, open-back Alencon lace mermaid style gown with Giuseppe Zanotti heels. The groom, 41, wore Lanvin from head to toe.
Her sister, the maid of honor, wore a bright blue Bao Tranchi gown.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds headed over to the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, where they continued the celebration feasting on French cuisine and dancing the night away.
"It was really my dream wedding," Evis gushed to RadarOnline.com. "It couldn't have been any more perfect."
The couple will take their honeymoon in a few months in an undisclosed tropical location.
