Reality is about to get a whole lot more “real.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has signed a book deal, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Taylor's estranged husband, Russell Armstrong committed suicide in August, following well documented marital and financial troubles for the couple.
And now, it seems that the world is about to get a look at the real inside story behind Taylor’s on screen struggles.
"Taylor's deal is with Simon and Schuster and the book will be out in February 2012,” a source close to Taylor tells RadarOnline.com. “It will be a memoir and the abuse she endured while married to Russell, as well as another abusive relationship she was in the past will all be detailed.
“Taylor is writing the book to put a face on women involved in domestic violence. She wants the public to know there are resources for battered women, and there is a way out.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Taylor’s domestic violence woes are currently being addressed on the second season of Housewives, which was filmed before Russell’s tragic suicide.
During a drama filled tea party at cast member Lisa Vanderpump’s house, Camille Grammer confronted Taylor about the abuse, making for a fiery, tear filled showdown.
“We have all protected you, what you have told us about your marriage,” Camille said. “Because we don’t say he hit you! Because we don’t say that he broke your jaw or that he beat you up! We don’t say that, but now we’ve said it.
“You need to be honest because that’s not cool!” Camille said.
Russell, 47, was found dead at a Los Angeles home August 15. He is survived by wife Taylor and three kids: son Aiden (with ex-wife Barbara Fredrickson); son Griffin (with former fiancée Milette Fields); and daughter Kennedy (with Taylor).
