Michael Lohan just can’t catch a break.
Lindsay Lohan’s father was released from a Ft. Myers, Florida hospital on Wednesday morning following his heart surgery, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that he has been rushed back to the emergency room with a staph infection.
“When Michael went back to the rehab center he was running a really high fever, so he went directly back to the hospital,” his friend Tom Murro told RadarOnline.com. “He’s in the emergency room now.”
Michael had surgery to unclog his artery to repair a blockage in his heart in a Florida hospital and the surgery was successful so he was released back to rehab, only to return almost immediately to the hospital.
The 50-year old father of four is in the court appointed rehab following his two arrests for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend Kate Major.
He will return to rehab once he is released from the hospital.
