Madonna To Play Super Bowl Halftime Show

Madonna will headline the halftime show of the upcoming Super Bowl at Indianapolis, Indiana's Lucas Oil Stadium on February 5, the NFL and NBC announced Sunday night.
The Grammy Award-winning Vogue singer will work with a Cirque du Soleil squad, choreographer Jamie King and Moment Factory for what is sure to be a historical performance in the making.
Last year's game included performances from The Black Eyed Peas, Slash and Usher.

The film W.E. -- which Madonna directed, wrote and produced -- hits theaters February 3.
Fun fact: The 53-year-old Material Girl has past dated jocks including hoops enigma Dennis Rodman, and baseball sluggers Alex Rodriguez and Jose Canseco.
