The NBA lockout is over but it's not all good news for the Los Angeles Lakers organization as the heir apparent to the country's most famous team was arrested for being drunk in public, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Jesse Buss, the son of owner Jerry Buss, was taken into custody for alcohol intoxication in the early hours of Friday morning in Lexington, Kentucky, after officers received a call about a man laying on the ground in a downtown street, reported WDRB.com.
The 23-year-old was released on bond but not before demanding special treatment on the grounds of his VIP parentage and him being the expected future leader of Kobe Bryant's championship team.
In other Lakers news, according to the L.A. Times, former basketball star Magic Johnson is putting together a dream team of investors to buy the city's financially-struggling baseball team, the Dodgers.
