A 46 year-old Illinois man has been charged with stalking Justin Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, and has pleaded not guilty, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
Thomas Brodnicki pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday morning to one count of stalking, which carries a maximum sentence of three years in state prison.
Judge Upinder Kalra set Brodnicki’s bail at $150,000 and granted a three-year protective order.
The preliminary hearing has been set for November 16, 2011.
This is probably a week that the Disney teen queen would like to forget, with her boyfriend Justin Bieber being named in a paternity suit filed by a Southern California woman.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, lawyers for Mariah Yeater are demanding that the Biebs take a paternity test.
"She is not seeking exorbitant compensation," her attorney told Star magazine exclusively. "She merely requests that Justin Bieber provide a DNA sample to verify that he is the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby, and if so, to help provide child support as required by California law."
