Hannah Montana Star Cody Linley’s Brother Died From 'Toxic Effects Of Heroin'

Disney star Cody Linley’s older brother Chad died in August and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned it was from the toxic effects of heroin.
According to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Texas, Chad’s manner of death was ruled an accident, but the cause was “Toxic effects of heroin.”
As , Chad, 29, was found in his Houston, Texas, apartment in August by his apartment manager.
“A friend of Chad’s called and said he was concerned because he hadn’t heard from him in a while,” a spokesperson for the Houston Police Department told RadarOnline.com.
“His apartment manager performed a welfare check on Chad and found him unresponsive. He then flagged down a nearby cop.”
Cody, 21, tweeted about the loss of his brother saying: "Thanks for all the prayers and support. I appreciate everyone that has reached out to me one way or another," but friends and family have remained silent on the cause of death.

Cody starred as Jake Ryan opposite Miley Cyrus on Disney’s Hannah Montana for five years.
While Chad had roles in HBO’s made-for-TV flick Frank and Jesse, starring Rob Lowe, and 1995’s TV movie Past The Bleachers, his career fizzled and he was attending Houston’s MediaTech Institute at the time of his death.
