Carson Kressley was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars’ 13th season Tuesday, a night after he and partner Anna Trebunskaya had the night's lowest score with 19/30 points for their cheerleading-inspired jive.
After he was ousted, Kressley thanked the show and Trebunskaya, calling her a “wonderful, kind and patient” dance partner.
"This has been pure joy for me; I hope I can just make people smile and laugh and have a good time," Kressley said. The other contestants in the bottom three this week were David Arquette and Hope Solo.
American Idol's first-ever winner, Kelly Clarkson, took the stage Tuesday. After host Tom Bergeron extended an invitation to the singer to compete, she joked it would be "a comedy" if she tried.
Solo, Arquette, J.R. Martinez, Rob Kardashian, Chaz Bono, Ricki Lake and Nancy Grace are still in the running for this year's crown.
Dancing with the Stars returns on ABC at 8/7c next Monday.
