Chaz Bono Totally Rad On DWTS’ 80s Night

Chaz Bono continues to blossom.
Dancing with the Stars' first-ever transgendered contestant dialed up his dancing on Monday, wiggling his derriere to a samba set to “Get Down On It” by Kool and the Gang in a performance many were calling Chaz’s best-to-date on the ABC dance show.
Chaz's partner Lacey Schwimmer enlisted her dance coach father Buddy to help Chaz come out of his shell on the dance floor.
"Chaz's weakness with the samba is mainly just him being shy," Lacey said. "Him shaking his butt in front of millions of people is not his forte!"
The judges were moderately impressed with Chaz’s newfound enthusiasm, giving him scores of seven across the board for a total of 21.
"That was the most dancing I've seen you do," Carrie Ann Inaba told him, while Bruno Tonioli said,"You've got the bounce going!
"It was like a dribbling basketball! You were giving the wiggle, which is not easy to do."
"Gallant effort," Len Goodman said. "Technique was lacking here and there, but what I liked is that you came out and really gave it a go."
