The girlfriend of San Diego billionaire Jonah Shacknai did not kill herself, she was murdered, her family is insisting in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com.

Rebecca Zahau was found nude and hanging from an outside balcony at her boyfriend’s mansion on July 18, and while the Medical Examiner’s Office is ruling her death a suicide her family says she was murdered and they believe they know who did it.

“Becky did not kill herself, someone killed her,” Snowem Horwath, Rebecca’s sister, exclusively claimed to RadarOnline.com. “Time will reveal who killed Becky.  I think I know who killed my sister.  We are not stupid, she never had any enemies.”

Horwath would not reveal who she believes killed her sister, but she disputed the evidence the police told her family they used to determine Rebecca killed herself.  “They do not have enough evidence to say it is a suicide, it is such a big lie,” Horwath alleged, noting that the family felt that there were many “holes” in their theories.

“Things they said did not match and they said they had a text message on her phone that showed that she was very unhappy, but they didn’t even say if it was from her or from someone else, or if someone could have put it there.”

Zahau’s death came just two days after Jonah’s six-year-old son, Max, was found unconscious at the base of the stairs. Horwath said her sister was sad about Max’s accident, but that wouldn’t have caused her to kill herself.

Snowem also claimed that her sister sent her an email shortly after the accident, which she has exclusively given to RadarOnline.com.

"Thanks so much snow....we r all very hopeful. Little max is still in ICU but has been stable all night which is a good sign. Please keep praying ...please also pray for Jonah for strength. It might not be a good idea to call me because I am in and out of the hospital and not sure if I wil be picking up phne. Lets keep in touch via email.love u”

Snowem said the family is comforted by the support they’re receiving from Rebecca’s ex-husband, Neil Nalepa, who is devastated by her death.  Her sister said Rebecca’s body was found in a way that she did not believe was suicide.

“Our faith is so strong, she wouldn’t have done that.  How could she tie her arms and her feet together?  She would never have wanted people to find her naked.  She would never do this,” Snowem said.

The San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office and the Coronado Police Department will be holding a press conference on Friday to officially announce their ruling of Rebecca’s death as a suicide.
