Jonah Shacknai's girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau, who died several weeks ago after being found hanging nude from a balcony at his Coronado mansion, didn't write a suicide note, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Zahau's hands were bound behind her back, and her feet were bound together as well, when Jonah's brother, Adam Shacknai found her.

Just two days earlier, Jonah's son Max, was found at the base of the stairs inside the estate, unresponsive. Max, 6, later died from his injuries in which authorities believe "is a total accident."

Cops are trying to determine if Rebecca's death was a suicide, or murder though. "No suicide note has been found. If Rebecca did indeed kill herself, she didn't leave a note," our source says.

The fact there isn't a note isn't necessarily out of the norm for people that kill themselves however. "Half of the time there is a suicide note. Its not uncommon to not have a note," a law enforcement source tells us.

Cops are expected to release their official findings about both Max and Rebecca's deaths in about 2-3 weeks. Rebecca's death is being looked at as "very, very suspicious," our sources say.
