Eva Longoria says she survived her very public break-up with Tony Parker because of her inner strength, steadfast work ethic and belief in love.
The Desperate Housewives beauty says she's a "survivor," and even though her relationship with the San Antonio Spurs guard ended in divorce, she's "grateful" to have had the relationship.
"I'm a very strong person," she told the UK's HELLO! magazine. "Personally I went through a lot, but jumping into my work helped me to get through my personal stuff.
"I'm a survivor, I believe in love, I believe that things are meant to be and that whatever happens is for a reason. I'm always grateful for the experiences that I have and I'm also very optimistic about what the future holds.
"I'm at peace with myself, my spirituality, my friends, my family," she said. "I have this amazing life, so I'm really happy deep inside my heart.
The 36-year-old actress said she believes she's looking and feeling her best these days, as her friends have been telling her she’s had more pep in her step than years past.

“Everybody keeps telling me this past year that I'm a different person, that I look younger, more vibrant – I don't know what's happened, but I'll take it."
