Only in Hollywood. Dana Delaney says she was asked for her autograph by a bus driver -- seconds after the driver crashed into her car.
The former Desperate Housewives' star's car was struck by the bus while she was driving in Los Angeles just days before starting her new role on ABC’s Body of Proof, but the over-enthusiastic driver seemed to forget she had just been hit by him when he got out to check on her.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I'd just left yoga classes at 8:30 am with a cup of coffee and felt very calm driving my car until a woman behind me started hooting for me to make an immediate left turn even though people were crossing.

"I was about to get out to tell her to stop when the green light turned amber and I decided to make the turn … But at the same moment, I saw a bus coming towards me out of the corner of my eye. I thought, 'You've got to be kidding.'
"There was an almighty crash. My glasses had flown off and coffee was all over the place. Then the bus driver came over and when she recognized me from Desperate Housewives, she asked me for my autograph. I said, 'I don't think so.' "
The 55-year-old actress was the original choice to play Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City -- a role which eventually went to Sarah Jessica Parker -- but she admits she does not regret not taking part in the series.
She said: "I didn't want to be in a show about sex. The part went to Sarah Jessica Parker and it made her into a worldwide star, but I've got no regrets."
