Sean Kingston Walks First Carpet Since Jet Ski Crash

Sean Kingston made his first carpet appearance since his near fatal jet ski crash on Memorial Day weekend.
Kingston -- wearing a bright red vest, white t-shirt, jeans and gold jewelry -- posed on the “blue” carpet at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City on Sunday.

The Jamaican-American singer, 21, later made an appearance on stage, after a warm introduction from Tyra Banks, who said: “I could not be more excited to welcome back to the Teen Choice stage, our friend Sean Kingston!”
After thunderous applause, Kingston kept his remarks brief, saying: “Thanks Tyra. Thanks everybody.. not just for the welcome, but for all the love I felt from so many of you guys the past few months. Trust me, I will never forgot all your thoughts and prayers. I love you guys. God bless.

Kingston and Banks then presented the Choice Music Male Artist Award to Justin Bieber.
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Kingston was nearly killed on May 29 in Miami Beach, Florida, when his jet ski crashed under a small bridge, injuring both him and his female passenger.
The Beautiful Girls singer recently told MTV News: "A lot of people don't know it was a deeper situation … I had open heart surgery and I had two other surgeries."
He also plans to get back to work and release new music by the end of 2011.

"I'm focused on music again, about to start working on a new album and get back out there again," he told MTV during a chat at his house in Miami. "I'm excited about the project. It's going to be really dope."
