Swift won the video of the year award for Mine, an honor she previously won two times before (2008's Our Song and 2009's Love Story).
"I wish I could be there, but I'm hanging out with 15,000 of my closest friends in Milwaukee," the singer said via video uplink.
Blake Shelton won two big honors: best male video for Who Are You When I'm Not Looking, as well as the best web video for Kiss My Country Ass. His wife, Miranda Lambert, won the the best female video for The House That Built Me.
And even the country world is not Bieber-proof, as the Canadian pop sensation's That Should Be Me (with Rascal Flatts) earned him the collaborative video award.
