Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers, who has handled a bulk of Lindsay Lohan's legal woes, is criticizing her partying ways while under house arrest.

RadarOnline.com caught up with the famed prosecutor on Tuesday night, one day before exclusively breaking the news that the Mean Girls star, 24, has been ordered back to court Thursday for violating terms of her probation for testing positive for alcohol.

Meyers was disturbed and concerned that Lindsay shot a commercial while under house arrest and says: "I think that Ms. Lohan should really be trying to get rehabilitated.

"I think that she really needs to be at home and read, and do some type of things that go towards her rehabilitation, and it's unfortunate that she is not doing those things if she is shooting a commercial.

"She really needs to take some timeout and think about the things that she has done and think about the things she can do to be productive.

"So I'm hoping that at some point in time she is going to take a step back, sit down, rehabilitate  herself, read some really important literature, and perhaps do some public service announcements about drinking and driving, and how bad that is.

"It's unfortunate to me that she is not doing that, I was hoping that she would once she got that big huge break from Judge Sautner."

Meyers is no longer involved in the case because Judge Sautner reduced the grand theft charge from a felony to a misdemeanor, and the City Attorney will be handling the probation violation hearing Thursday morning.

However, a representative from the DA's office will be there because of their knowledge of Lohan's case. Well connected sources tell RadarOnline.com that Meyers won't be that person though.

"I don't think she is taking her issues seriously enough," Meyers says. "I really do believe that she should be on television doing public service announcements about the evils of alcohol and driving.

"I really think she ought to be home, dealing with her problems, reading up on the literature about substance abuse problems if she has them and she is not doing that if she is shooting commercials."

Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lohan at her sentencing for her last probation violation that she didn't believe that Lindsay was an alcoholic or drug addict.

RadarOnline.com will be in the courtroom for the probation violation hearing which will begin at 10:00 am PST.
