Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Donate $500,000 To Joplin Tornado Relief

Big hearted couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $500,000 to help the struggling victims of the Joplin, Mo tornado.
RadarOnline.com can report that the A-list pair handed over the half a million dollars to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, which will help to rebuild the area which was devastated by the natural disaster.
Pitt - who is a Missouri native and also attended the state's university - issued a statement about their generous donation.
"With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead," he said. "Having spent most of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient.
"The locally based Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be working shoulder to shoulder with these Joplin residents for the long haul as they rebuild their lives. We, too, hope to further help with these rebuilding efforts."
His partner and mother to his six children added: “Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much."
The pair are famous for their hefty donations to charity and have given millions of dollars to good causes over the last few years.
