Kate Middleton as a fashion icon is a force to be reckoned with!
In her first public appearance since returning from her honeymoon, The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning and tan in her form-fitting Reiss dress when she met President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
Known for her fresh and youthful eye for fashion, women around the world are copying Kate’s style, and this dress is no exception.
“The dress is flying off the shelves in stores in both the UK and the US,” a spokesperson for Reiss told RadarOnline.com about the “Shola” dress that sells for $340.
"We're sold out of the dress,” Anthony Conley, a sales associate at the Reiss store in Beverly Hills, tells RadarOnline.com. “It was popular before but now it's exploded.”
“I came into the store this morning and they all sold out. It was the same when she wore the white dress for the engagement. Definitely a lot of people want to see what she wears and dress like Kate."
Kate also wore a white Reiss dress for her official engagement portrait.
Kate and her new husband Prince William chatted with the president and his wife for 20 minutes about their wedding and their upcoming trip to the U.S. this summer.
