The boys are back in town... or there for the first time!

Jersey Shore stars Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Pauly D, Ronnie Magro and Vinny Guadagnino have finally taken their GTL international, touching down in Florence on Friday after a neverending obstacle course of delays.

As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, the trip to Florence, Italy has not been without its’ setbacks: not only have local officials seen to it that the show cannot film the cast drinking, but they yanked their permits to tape at local landmarks such as the art gallery Uffizi and historic town hall Palazzo Vecchio.

An earlier attempt by the fellas to travel to Italy last weekend was unexpectedly delayed after government officials in Italy yanked some of their filming permits.

On Friday, the quartet of "Guidos" were seen at the Florence Airport, as they touched down in the beautiful city they're set to tape the show's fourth season.

As they approached the house they'll be staying in, throngs of fans armed with cameras camped out to get a glimpse of the American reality stars.

While the fanfare surrounding their arrival says otherwise, The Situation's estranged father Frank Sorrentino believes the cast "will all be shunned" while in Italy.

"They certainly do not reflect what true Italian heritage is," Frank said. "I don't think any of them can speak Italian -- most of them can't speak English, if you listen to ‘em!"
