EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Lindsay Lohan's Prosecutor: 'She Has Been Treated Fairly And Compassionately'
Feb. 7 2011, Published 8:00 a.m. ET
Danette Meyers, the prosecutor who is handling Lindsay Lohan's DUI probation case and overseeing the new grand theft case against her, spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com about Lindsay's claims that Meyers is "out to get her."
The powerhouse Deputy District Attorney told RadarOnline.com: "The D.A.'s Office has been fair and compassionate in prosecuting Ms. Lohan on her DUI. The same fairness and justice will be applied in determining whether or not to file charges in the present manner. I think her lawyer would agree with this statement. I believe justice was administered fairly and equitably."
RadarOnline.com broke the blockbuster news that the Los Angeles Police Department had obtained a search warrant to search LiLo's residence for a stolen necklace. Before cops could execute the search warrant, Lindsay's stylist turned over the $2,500 one-of-a-kind necklace to cops.
A source close to Lindsay says that Lindsay believes that Meyers is "out to get me, and is trying to use me so she (Danette Meyers) can get elected."

But it is the location of the alleged crime that designated Meyers as the prosecutor, RadarOnline.com has learned. It had nothing to do with the identity of the suspect.
"Meyers is interested in making sure the process is fair for both sides," an insider in the D.A.'s office tells us.
