After sustaining head injuries from a fall off stage, singer Jimmy Buffett has been released from an Australian hospital RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“He’s been discharged,” Sydney’s St. Vincent Hospital spokesperson Denise Coughlan told RadarOnline.com.
“It was within the last two hours and he’s going to be fine.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 64-year-old Margaritaville singer took a gnarly spill off the stage on Wednesday during a sold-out concert in Sydney.
"Mr. Buffett was brought to us at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening,” Coughlan said.
According to concertgoer Dan Bateman, Buffett took the fall during a performance of Lovely Cruise and fans were shocked.
"We were told to leave the premises. No one really wanted to leave because everyone was anxious to know if he survived the fall,” Bateman said.
"Everyone was pretty horrified.''
