Actor Wesley Snipes surrendered Thursday shortly before noon to a Pennsylvania prison where he will begin serving a three-year sentence for tax evasion, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The 48-year-old is inmate number 43355-018 and is housed in the medium security McKean Federal Correctional Institution where he will begin the admission and orientation program before being given a “work assignment” to make money based on his performance.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, inmates at the facility are allowed to shower only three times a week; during that time they will receive a fresh set of prison issued clothing, and it’s lights out at 10:00 p.m. daily.
Snipes was found guilty in 2008 for failing to pay taxes on his $38 million income.
