Michael Levine, a friend of Chasen’s for over 25 years, is confident others will join him in his quest for justice.
“Ronni was an incredibly popular Hollywood icon for decades,” said Levine. “And I know Hollywood friends will passionately participate in this vital effort to find her murderer.”
Levine says he hopes to raise a minimum of $25,000 with the next week.
“We must do everything possible to assist the Beverly Hills police in solving this horrific crime. Ronni gave the utmost for her clients and this industry.”
Another friend, Morgan Freeman, had this to say about her sudden passing: “I had the extreme pleasure of working with Ronnie on Driving Miss Daisy. We've been friends ever since. She is someone I greatly admired and she will be remembered.”
