There were no reporters in the Mecklenburg County courtroom and witnesses were asked to leave as Fantasia took the stand.

At times, the audio is extremely difficult to understand, so RadarOnline.com has included a transcript below on key parts as Fantasia is questioned by a lawyer for Paula Cook. Fantasia is a reluctant witness. At first she discusses a letter she wrote to Antwaun about wanting to have his baby. Then she is pinned down by the opposing lawyer who gets her to confesses to the abortion in dramatic testimony.

Fantasia insists that she does not remember exactly when she had the abortion but the former American Idol winner, 26, eventually admits it was close to August. That is when she attempted to kill herself with an overdose of aspirin after reading a court complaint filed by Paula that painted Fantasia as a home wrecker.

The singer has acknowledged she dated Cook "off and on for about 11 months" but said she believed he had separated from his wife.
