Vicki Gunvalson, star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, was released midday Friday, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Vicki was admitted to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA on Thursday for minor internal bleeding. The reality star had ulcers in her colon.

After tests were completed, a member of her staff member told RadarOnline.com. “It was caused from work and is stress-related. She has tendencies to spend long hours at the office and not take any breaks,” her staff said. “It was certainly a wake-up call that she needs to slow down.”

The mother of two grown kids, Vicki hit the headlines recently after she filed for a divorce from her husband Donn last week. "It's not due to a divorce," Vicki said about her condition. "I was hemorrhaging. It was very scary." She added that the bleeding has been remedied though she was warned flare-ups could occur in the future.

The successful business woman is the CEO and founder of Coto Insurance and she had been filming for Bravo’s popular reality show on Thursday before being taken to hospital.

Vicki is currently under the care of her daughter Briana, who’s a nurse, after undergoing a two-hour surgery. Her staff expects she’ll be back on her feet and in the office shortly.

“I’d be surprised if she didn’t come back in this afternoon,” the staff member said.
