Sopranos Friend Put Away For Life

We recently reported on the conviction of reputed low-level mob associate Steven Armento for the murder of New York police officer Daniel Enchautegui during a failed robbery. Well, justice has been served, and Armento's been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
According to authorities, Armento and his partner, former Sopranos actor Lillo Brancato, broke into a basement apartment in the Bronx to swipe prescription drugs after an evening of drinking at a strip club in Yonkers.

The off-duty Enchautegui, whose apartment was next door, came out to see what was happening, and was shot in the heart by Armento with a .357 Magnum. The officer fired back and wounded both men before dying.
Brancato, who claims that he didn't know his partner had a gun, will go on trial next week.
