Tiger Woods Told Cops He Took Xanax and Vicodin
Shocking new details previously kept from the public about Tiger Woods Memorial Day DUI arrest in Jupiter, Florida, are now being revealed.
Parts of Woods' incident investigation report were originally redacted by the police department, but after a public records request by the Golf Channel, the Jupiter PD has reissued an unredacted version of the Woods report.
The newly-released report from the Jupiter, Florida Police Department indicates that Woods, 41, told arresting officers that he was taking Xanax and Vicodin when he was arrested last month for suspicion of driving under the influence, the Golf Channel has reported.
Woods was found asleep behind the wheel of his 2015 Mercedes on the side of the road in the early hours of May 29.
After the former Master's Tournament golf champ was arrested, Woods released a statement citing "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications," as RadarOnline.com has reported.
Woods blew a 0.000 on two Breathalyzer tests and failed multiple field sobriety tests, as RadarOnline.com has shown in humiliating video shots.
Police audio obtained by RadarOnline.com indicated that Woods was asleep at the wheel when police arrived, and was found to be slurring his words when he woke up. His car also showed noticeable damage and had two flat tires.
Now, a note from Officer Christopher Fandry, who interrogated Woods on the scene, has come to light showing Woods was specific in naming drugs he had taken.
Fandry wrote, as Golf Channel reported, "I asked Woods if he had taken any medication to which he stated 'Xanax.'"

The officer reported that Woods told him once more during the field sobriety test that he had taken Xanax.
After arriving at the testing facility, Woods told police that he was on four medications – Soloxex (sic), Torix (sic), Vioxx and Vicodin – but did not mention Xanax, according to the report obtained by the Golf Channel.
As the Golf Channel noted, Xanax is a benzodiazepine commonly prescribed to treat anxiety and depression. An FDA warning notes that its combination with an opioid like Vicodin "may result in profound sedation, respiratory depression, coma and death."
While Woods used to be on top of the word, both professionally personally, he has been experiencing a downward spiral lately, as RadarOnline.com reported. The athlete's golf game has flopped and he split from beautiful blonde skier Lindsey Vonn.
